Black Widow Spider – Image of the Week

This is a black widow spider that I found in my garage a while ago. I used my Nikon D1X with a 70-180mm micro lens to capture her in all her glory.

Hi I just found two of the same black widows in my mother in laws old record player and i took a lit candle and fried both of them and there babies i was very careful by putting medical gloves on and using a long b.b.q spatula with it i scooted both of them out of the corner and killed them with a lit candle stick and put them out side on the grass i did this because i have a cat that likes to sleep on top of the record player and did not want to take any chances thank you for posting your pic. of the spider because you did that i was able to identify the type of spiders thank you P.S you can email me ****.hotmail thanks hope to hear from you soon…
