Bubbles or droplets? – Image of the Week

This image might be mistaken for air bubbles in a fizzy drink. My wife does a lot of my keywording and made this very mistake. It is actually the small droplets of water coming out of my kitchen sink. I used a small flash to freeze the action and put a piece of blue paper behind it for the background. The human eye sees the equivalent of 1/24th of a second so you would never see it this way in real life. I’m guessing the flash froze these droplets at around 1/5000th of a second. Photography lets us see things in new and wonderful ways. If you want to see this image as bubbles, I’m not going to stop you, (especially if you are my wife).

You can view this image in my gallery under miscellaneous>>macro>> water bubbles.
