We used to watch The Jetsons and assume that by 2016 we would all be whizzing around in our own personal spaceships – but transport, of people and goods, hasn’t changed as much as we thought it would.

Transforming Transportation is happening this month in Washington, and maybe there will be some interesting news out of it.

Are we at the stage of driverless cars yet? Is there a better way to keep traffic from jamming and increasing global emissions? These TED Speakers think there might be.
