Internet Access

What did we ever do before the internet? Back in the old days if you wanted to research something you asked an expert (if you knew one) or you went to your local library.  When was the last time you were at the public library to look something up?  If you are like me, it’s been a while.

The internet is great for things like Google and Wikipedia but I think we might be losing our ability to retain knowledge because the answer is just 10 seconds away when we’ve got an internet connection. Why commit it to memory when we can look it up?

Let’s hope that the net doesn’t collapse, but just in case, you had better brush up on your Dewey Decimal System, or at least google it if you can.
