Lunar Eclipse

a photo time lapse of a lunar eclipse

Here is a photo time lapse of the total lunar eclipse that occurred last night in British Columbia. It was captured in the early hours of the morning, 3:30am to 4:30am to be exact. I used a 300mm lens, and each photo was taken a minute apart. Every fourth photo was used in this image, so as not to overlap each other. Unfortunately the moon began to hide behind a tree at the bottom of the frame thus I wasn’t able to include more moon photos in the final image.

Have you ever seen an eclipse in person?
