Space in Asia: Vietnam & Ho Chi Minh

Asia, although a seemingly small piece of the world puzzle as pictured from space, is a continent that has a huge impact on global trade, relations, and history.

On this day in 1969, Ho Chi Min, the former communist leader of Northern Vietnam, died. His life was a battle to bring his communist ideals to a united Vietnam under the Viet Minh independence movement. The Vietnam war is still part of evolving world history, and communist ideals continue to influence spheres of power in Asia.
