Our Christmas gift – Image of the Week

This is a picture I took a couple weeks ago of the new addition to our home. “Niko” was an early Christmas gift for our children. After much pleading and then some serious ploys to entice me to get a puppy, we finally relented. My middle daughter was even smart enough to place print outs of photos that she had researched on-line in inconspicuous places around the house. These photos would have little comments such as “a potential best-selling image like this could be yours!” So, taking her lead, I decided I’d better photograph this puppy while he was still cute. No animals were hurt in the creation of this image.

This image was taken using my Nikon D2X and a 50mm 1.4 lens. 1/80 sec, @ F 2.0
