Were ancient cultures influenced by aliens? There are many people who believe that the advances past cultures made were largely due to an influence of visitors from the stars. Many cultures have myths and legends about gods, angels, and larger than life figures who ascend from the heavens to council, save, and sometimes destroy human life. Many cultures around the world still believe in angels, ghosts, and spirits.
The western world is increasingly interested in the idea that we may have had extraterrestrial help, or ourselves may come from the stars. This interest is reflected in popular television shows like “Ancient Aliens” as well as the return of the Star Trek franchise to main stream media. There will always be hard core sci-fi believers, but it is becoming increasingly normal to believe that aliens exist, and that we have been visited or even guided by them.
