Western Toad Tuesday

Last Tuesday morning I received a phone call from my brother, Drew the animal-rescuer, that while on his travels he encountered a lost Western toad on a busy road. The toad was gracious enough to model for the day, and after some great shots and a bucket of fresh water for him to refresh in, it was time to say goodbye. I released him in a more toad-fitted environment, a lovely swamp to the side of some lush fields in the area.
