World Wire Globe – Image of the Week

How do you make a high tech looking globe to represent global connections?  Sometimes the solution is low-tech. In this instance, I photographed a whisk on end for the background element. The effect is subtle, here is a more clear example of the egg beater effect.

The Globe was modeled and rendered in 3D studio and composited in Photoshop.
